i also suggest turning off all the excess capturing like every subtitle under the sun etc, also dont try to do it faster than the time it takes to normally play a movie or song. the only issues i have seen are it will not record properly over an RDP connection and the built in player does not work well or at all sometimes, but the recorded file is just fine. it takes a little bit of know-how to set up the recording stream options. I use a powerfull but 10 year old computer to do this on and let the video encoding process run off my nvidia 1080ti card rather than the main processor. your going to get a littly lossy 1080p recording but it works very well.
with a little tweaking i have had no errors recording from amazon video or netflix at all. it flawlessly and easily transfers my itunes "apple music" (not the paid for individual songs, but the entire apple library to my thumb drive for my car. Im not sure what everyone is having issues with, i had 2022 and upgraded to 2023 just because it worked so well.
